St. Mary's School is located in the heart of Darke County, Ohio. The school was established in 1888 and has proudly been educating the children of the city of Greenville and the surrounding area for the past 120 years. Today dedicated lay teachers continue the educational tradition that the Sisters of Charity (Cincinnati) began so long ago. St. Mary's School offers a Pre-School through 8th grade education.
We endeavor to educate and work with the whole child so he/she develops not just intellectually, but socially, spiritually, morally, and physically. We also recognize that parents are the primary educators of their children and the teachers work closely with them so together they all help the child have a successful school experience.

With the support of the Parish and parents, the students and faculty of St. Mary’s School are a living community of faith by proclaiming the Gospel, serving others, and praising God; educating our children in knowledge and values with high academic and behavioral standards; loving our neighbor in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
